Frequently asked questions
Everything about swapping on SmokeSwap: KYC, rates, fees, networks and privacy. Can't find what you need? Contact support 24/7.
Do I need an account or KYC?
No account and no KYC are required. SmokeSwap is a non-KYC crypto swap. You send from your own wallet and we deliver to the receiving address you specify. No account, no KYC, no personal data.
How does a swap work?
Choose your pair, add your receiving wallet, then send the exact amount to your personal deposit address. We route the swap for the best available price and deliver funds directly to your wallet. Track everything with your Swap ID.
Floating vs Fixed rates — what is the difference?
Floating locks the route at the time of swap and usually gives the best price. Fixed holds a quote for a short window, great if you want certainty during volatile markets.
What if I choose the wrong network or forget a memo?
We auto-detect the network and warn when a tag/memo is required (XRP, XLM, TON). Funds sent to an incompatible address or without a required memo may be unrecoverable — always double-check before sending.
What fees do I pay?
All fees are shown before you send: network fees plus a small service fee (no hidden costs). The quote displays your expected receive amount and ETA.
Which coins and networks are supported?
We support BTC, XMR, ETH, LTC, SOL, USDT, USDC, DASH, ZEC and more across their native networks and major token standards. The full list is on the supported coins page.
How long does a swap take?
Most swaps complete in 5–20 minutes, dominated by on-chain confirmation times. Monero and Bitcoin pairs can take a little longer due to their confirmation requirements. You will see live status in the tracker.
Is my IP or browsing data logged?
We keep only the minimal logs needed to operate and route swaps. We do not sell data, do not run third-party analytics, and self-host our assets. Use Tor or a VPN for an additional layer of privacy.
